Murrumbateman Landcare Group Current projects

MLG has a number of ongoing projects, funded through grants and member subscriptions. They include:

- Landcare Linkages for Biodiversity work in the Murrumbateman area, funded through three grants in 2010.

- Community native plant nursery, located in Murrumbateman Village. Financial members can grow their own native plants for free – and MLG will look after them until ready for planting. Propagation days are held in autumn and spring.

- Indian Myna bird control through trapping. Traps and instructions are available to financial members.

- Community plantings, the most recent of which is rehabilitating the Murrumbateman Common.
