Murrumbateman Landcare Group

Our mission is:

'To promote sustainable land and water use and to develop an attractive living environment with a particular focus on the Murrumbateman region'.

Meetings:

For most of the year, MLG meets on the first Thursday of the month. The meeting time is 7.30 pm in summer and 7.00 pm in winter. The meeting is usually held at the Murrumbateman Recreation Ground Hall. Most of the meeting is taken up by a presentation by one or more inevitably interesting guest speakers on a range of topics. The meetings are very congenial, with a simple meal of soup and bread beforehand in winter and supper at other times. Apart from these meetings, we arrange outside events such as farm walks (often with a bird-watching component) and participate in the Murrumbateman Field Days.

Joining MLG:

New members are always welcome. Please contact any of the committee members listed above to join. Membership is $25 per year for a single or family. The membership year starts on 1 September. 

Our preference is for subscriptions to be paid directly into our bank account (Commonwealth Bank – BSB:  062911   Account:  10061229   Name of account:  Murrumbateman Landcare Group). **Please put your name in the transaction description so we know who you are!

Cash or cheques can also be given to committee members or posted to 8 Hercules Street, Murrumbateman, NSW 2582.
